By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms. If you got the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
What the app is
My Gun Collection is a personal record-keeping tool for cataloging firearms you own or are storing for others. It is not legal advice and does not replace any record you are required to keep by law. It does not buy, sell, transfer, appraise or insure firearms.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and legally allowed to possess the firearms you catalog.
- Your catalog is encrypted with a key derived from your password. Your password cannot be reset or recovered. If you lose it, your data is unrecoverable. Keep a copy somewhere safe, and consider keeping an encrypted backup file.
- You are responsible for anything done with your account.
Subscription
- My Gun Collection Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple handles billing and refunds.
- Without an active subscription you can still log in, view, export and delete everything in your catalog. Adding, editing and photo auto-fill require a subscription.
- Any free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then.
Auto-fill accuracy
Make, model, caliber and serial numbers read from photos are suggestions. Always check them against the firearm before saving. We are not responsible for errors in a record you save.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app for anything unlawful, don't try to break into other accounts or the service, and don't upload content you don't have the right to store.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will be available at all times or free of errors, and we are not liable for lost data or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the service
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always at this address with the date above.
